The first one I purchased failed after 5 intermittent swipes. Thinking it was just one bad relay, I bought a second one. Not only did it fail after three intermittent swipes, but it buzzed loudly on the high speed setting. I ended up having to hunt down an OEM relay in a junk yard. It is working flawlessly. This is in my 1984 VW Rabbit Deluxe convertible.

It worked but be aware the printing is not on the same sides as the original, so don't make the mistake of using the printing as a reference while installing. I made that mistake and it took me awhile to line up the prongs correctly.

The relay immediately began buzzing and grinding. Then failed to land in the reset/off position. Very high likelihood that I received a bad relay.

Installed this in my vw corrado and worked for only two months. Buy oem vw and save yourself the hassle.

Ein originales Relais würde bei Audi 50,- kosten, Funktioniert einwandfrei. Intervall ist recht kurz, aber noch in Ordnung. Evtl. sonst ein einstellbares Relais kaufen.
