I bought this for my 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E 2.6. The new and improved amperage ratings inside are the PERFECT REPLACEMENT of this part. NO MORE ABS LIGHT, NO MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. The engine runs the best it has run, especially on startup, since I purchased it with 250,000 miles on it a year ago. I even went to the local pick-your-part place and got two replacements, thinking one of them should work. They worked for about two days and BAM! Down again. This is a known problem for my year of Mercedes-Benz. Look no further, and do NOT hesitate to use this part. Easy to install. Car runs great!

Relay worked great for 3 years then slowly failed, causing the same ABS ASR lights that had happened before. The relay quality itself is fantastic, lots of people like to crap on URO, but the issue isn't them, with why these relays don't last so long. Opening the failed relay, I found that it was a cold solder joint. Testing the solder, it's lead free solder, as required globally by ROHS requirements nowadays. The original MB relays last a lot longer because of leaded solder. So fact of the matter, it doesn't matter who makes the relay anymore, as any new relay will go bad sooner because it uses lead free solder. Leaded solder is better than lead free solder, but it just happens to be toxic, so that's the price to pay. Just buy these relays in a pack, or go back and resolder the joints (with leaded solder if you play safe) to squeeze more life out of them.

Appears to be a very solid and well built part, worked instantly and has the benefit of TWO 10 amp fuses in the top instead of the standard 1. Pleased so far. I got it shipped from USA because I cant get hold of one in Scotland. Very fast shipping, 4 days to come 5000 miles!

I installed this OVP relay in my car. The car did run better for a few days but then strange electrical things started happening. I checked the connection and even with light movement the electrical issues changed got worse or better. I decided I needed to look at the relay so pulled it off its connection. The whole thing fell apart in my hand! I put it back together and tried plugging it back in. Continued to have problems. I went to an auto parts store and bought the OME relay installed it and now my car works perfectly. I tried to return this item today but says it's past the date of return. This is a defective relay!!!!! I deserve credit.

It's a relay...it either works or it doesn't. This worked fine in my 1988 Mercedes 420SEL. Got rid of the ABS light and high idle. It's been over a month and still going. For how long, we shall see.

Everything seems to be all right after a proper installation. Be sure to fasten it right and tight after cleaning the ports. May seem to be faulty if it is loose. A more protective package would be better for long range orders.

My W126 300SE was randomly stalling, or showing a blinking check engine light together with the ABS light. It also sometimes would randomly lack power when accelerating, or shift roughly. Since installing this new Uro OVP relay, the issues seem to have gone away. It fits perfectly and is very easy to install/swap out. Generally Uro parts don't have the greatest reputation, but this OVP relay seems well made.
