I received the part, it looked similar to oem part. It comes with the housing gasket. It does not come with the upper radiator hose O-ring/seal (I knew this ahead of time, so i purchased one prior). I would suggest replacing the O-ring to prevent a leak after repair.I disassembled, in process of installing new one, I noticed the connector on the thermostat housing was loose when I plugged wire in. I took it back out to see what issue was & noticed that the sensor/connector was not staked correctly & it was free to move & not staying in place.Under the circumstance, late Saturday & vehicle disabled, I had no choice but to secure & glue the sensor/connector in place. I was hesitant but no parts store in my area had this thermostat housing.I was able to get repair done & no leaks or issues at this time. I will provide a picture of what I'm talking about. This is not the actual housing i received, I used an online pic of the same part. This pic shows a properly staked sensor/connector in the housing. The one I got was done poorly & sensor/connector was moving around & coming out.

Installed the thermostat, it worked for a few weeks and then temperature started to play up on the dashboard. Replaced with a Mercedes OEM part and it has been working since then.
