I had used an Urth filter, which was very good, but never one of their adapters. I got the Leica R lens to M adapter and it was better than I expected it to be. The build quality, the fit of the lens to the adapter, and the fit of the adapter to the camera is excellent. Not too tight, and does not have any play. My Leica M10 recognizes the adapter and I can manually select the lens. The EVF or live view has to be used for focusing as there is no connection between the range finder and the lens. I just use the Visoflex 020, focus magnification, and focus peaking and get tack sharp images from vintage Leica lenses. I will probably also add the Urth L adapter for M lenses since this one is so good at a very nice price.

I love Urth - I think have 6 different adapter from them because of all my damn camera and lens mounts. The packaging is excellent and very green. The adapters are high quality and machined perfectly.

Although the text states "Combine any M39 mount lens with any Leica M mount camera...", I'm afraid that's not true for the Leica M10-P. While the M39 lens screws smoothly onto the adapter, the adapter does not properly attach to the camera. It will not rotate fully and lock into place. I tried two of these Gobe adapters, for different frame lines, and the results were the same; neither will mount on a Leica M10-P. Returned.

This stuff is all kind of black magic, but my cheap caliper shows this as 0.96 mm instead of 1.0 mm. I can't swear to its accuracy, but trying to focus a 135mm lens on an M3 body results in the rangefinder not lining up focused at infinity and poorly focused images on film, where a M-native lens focuses perfectly.

I bought three different brands for Leica R to M adapter (none of them is Leica brand which I have too). Only this one fits reasonably well with slight motion. The other two brands (I do not mention the names here, but you see them in Amazon) either fit lose with large side motion or too tight, both due to low mechanical precision. If you do not want to spend $200 for Leica adapter, this is a good choice.

Bought this mount because less expensive mounts are unable to focus closer than 6ft. 3x the price for 2 extra feet. The 135 lines are there but I have yet to try my 135. Also, haven’t shot any rolls so I can’t verify focus accuracy as some reviews have suggested it is a little off.
