I always use 505 basting spray on my quilts, it doesn't clog and it doesn't gum up my sewing machine.

Odif USA 505 Spray and Fix Temporary Fabric Adhesive 14.7 Oz is a great product. I spray this on the fabric that I use to create totes and bags. It holds down the batting that I use. I have been using this product for years. It cleans up easily with soap and water. I am on the subscription list because I use so much of it. Jacquie

I’ve basted several quilts with this and love it! It holds layers together securely, but easily allows repositioning when necessary. I also use it when appliquéing or patching. You do need to be mindful about inhaling the product, so it must be used in a well-ventilated space, or outside. I confess, however, that for VERY small, quick uses, I’ve used the spray indoors with no problem.

this product does not gum up the needle in your machine. Keeps the layers of quilt together nicely and I do pin in certain places even with the basting spray.

I bought this spray and fix to attach my stabilizer to the back of projects. It has been a good addition. It holds well enough to get the material and stabilizer into the hoop. It does not hold as well as some, but I like the price and it works well enough.

I use this any time I’m putting my quilt together.It’s the best adhesive for your quilt layers. It’s amazing, and is recommended by all my quilting friend and instructors.

This product does not stick to my needle when quilting. Tried other similar products, this is much better. I do not like cleaning my needle every few minutes and this product does not cause the needle to gum up and cause skipped stitches.

I really like this product I use it all the time for keeping quilts together as I do top sewing and binding. The price Amazon offers is the best. The time it took to get it was also the best. Great going Amazon!

This product worked a little too good. I couldn’t get the glue stains out … so if anyone any any answers to how to remove the stains, I would change my rating
