This quality install kit was just what I needed to change out my gear set. Shims provided thickness adjustments and the seals look good quality. Bearing size was spot on and overall it functioned flawlessly. No excessive noise from the pumpkin and the gears mesh well.

Most parts included are great quality. Bearings are by Koyo, made in Japan. That is what's used on Toyota's Hondas etc. The only thing I didn't like was the cast steel pinion nut. Casting was not that great but it worked fine.

Good product, 8 months later open up the case to throw a different rear gear & bearings look in good shape, only thing wrong I received the wrong pinion seal in the kit besides that it was solid

Every single bearing that was installed that came in this kit was a bad bearing everything was properly pressed and installed and these bearing still did not work 🤦ðŸ½â€â™‚ï¸if only I didn’t spend so much on this kit I bought everything at oreillys for way cheaper and better quality I do not recommend this at all😡

I am happy with this kit and its pricing. The bearings and races were Koyo, a top quality bearing manufacturer. The carrier bearings were USA and the pinion bearings were Japan. The kit came with left hand threaded ring gear bolts, though I didn't use (need) them. It came with several pinion shims and a set of sandwich shims from the carrier bearings. It also came with a differential cover gasket, crush sleeve, thread locker, 1-1/4" pinion nut, a pinion seal, gear marking paint and a brush. It even had a little instruction booklet, but it was pretty general information. It had information about pinion pre-load specs, but from what I found on the internet, the specs provided were on the low side. So check the FSM for what GM has to say on the issue, if you can find one. I found that diluting the paint with one part paint and three parts gear oil worked very well. It was every thing in the picture, plus the gasket. Shipping was priority mail and I had it in three days of ordering. Its a nice, quality kit packaged on a shrink wrap type of blister board so that things don't bang against each other in shipping.

Buy the kit. Don’t waste time on individual bearings.However, I had a posi housing with standard internals so I should have got the standard 8†kit and kept my star spacer from my pinion shaft.Auto shops charge like $380 for these kits.

Product came in a timely manner.Was well sealed and packaged.Seems likeGood quality. Heads up! By a gasket as it does not come with one. It has a gasket maker instead. Product as I looked it up takes 24 to 49 hours to dry ,which can be an inconvenience to not use the vehicle.
