The bonus of THIS adapter is the USB C INPUT, which means you can power the ipad while connected -- infact, I am powering the iPad off this connector which is pulling power from my laptop (a USB C to USB C cable). The price of this adapter plus an HDMI Cable VS an App STORE app ( $159 !!??!!??!!?? ) for a 2nd monitor ? Although this adapter has USB A and C, Betting iPad must be USB C.All the wires get a bit ugly, but seriously, this is GREAT !

Properly supports 1080P/60 and 2K output. Note if you get USB-C Video capture device consider you WANT power delivery. First, one I bought did not have this and battery life on tablet/phone is GREATLY diminished when capturing video. So your display device will NOT have it's typical battery life. Maybe decreases life by 50%

The product works well. As soon as I opened the shipping bag my heart sank. The box was flat and torn. During delivery the package was smashed so badly the video card tore through the instruction booklet and it was quite dented. I plugged it in and it still work just fine. I returned this one and got a new card sent to me in a couple days. I'm happy with the durability and quality. I highly recommend this.

I use it to play my switch on an 11 inch tablet.Works perfectly. Great picture and sound. Charges well through the power delivery port.My only complaint is it doesn't have its own app.Had to download 3rd party software and pay an additional fee to the app developer to remove advertising.,

I can confirm this work great for the Quest 3 and charges it at the same time. On my Quest 3 it tops out at 1440p, But I use 1080p (60hzs) with zero issues .

I used this in combination with a separate composite to HDMI converter to copy an old VHS recording to my computer so I could make a DVD. You'll need some extra software and parts to do all this, but it includes and instruction sheet which shows you how to get it working in OBS (open source software). Using these two devices together worked so much better than the cheap one-piece capture stick I used before.Colors were represented accurately. There's not much to this device. When you plug in the source, it briefly shows the resolution and aspect ratio detected. This can also be used to just about any HDMI source you can think of. Maybe you just need a quick monitor for a Raspberry Pi or a camcorder - fire up OBS and view it in a window on your computer screen.I really only bought this to convert one video, but I may end up using it with my older game consoles if I get the right conversion boxes.

i bought another one from ugreen cause i think ugreen is better but this one is way better. iam not an expert but it works great on my ipad 5th gen and my quest 3. no latency than i can notice and th inclusion of the usb c port on it makes it greath for charging your ipad at the same time

I got this to play PS5 on my Meta Quest 3, but now I mostly use it to display a Windows PC Stick on my Android phone on the go. Works great and always connects to any device I plug it into. The capture device gets warm when actively processing video for over an hour, but doesn't get too hot. I think it's worth the price and recommend it!
