My car doesn't have a cigarette lighter plug, but it has USB-C that charges my phone and everything else I plug into it, except this cable. First one of these I ordered didn't work, so I exchanged it. Second one was no better, did not energize the radio in my car plug, with an aux battery or in a home charger. I added a C to USB-A adapter to the cord and it now works in every power source!Customer service is beyond worthless. They give the same canned answers-don't use a data port Yada Yada. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because I found a work around with the adapter. If you only have USB C, this is not a solution.
