The double bed we purchased over fifty years ago has been in one of our guest bedrooms for over twenty years now. Needless to say, we have been through several double mattresses over the years which always had a fitted mattress cover on top. We purchased waterproof, dustproof, mite proof, etc. mattress encasements for all of our mattress years ago. It seems allergies run in our family. We also have pets who share our beds with us. With pets and young children one may expect accidents. Therefore, having a waterproof mattress cover is an absolute necessity! This encasement fits our approximately 10-11 inch thick double mattress perfectly. No wrinkles, creases, excess bedding material or crinkling to be seen, heard or felt. Double fitted sheets are smooth as silk to the touch and to the eyes. Similar encasements have laundered very well. As this bed is in a guest bedroom, the mattress encasement is not used every night. However, we have received years of use out of similar encasements. As a good mattress is costly, we feel an encasement is a small price to pay in order to protect and extend the life of the mattress. More importantly, it is a very small investment to ensure the well being of those we love who sleep on them.

I was happily surprised by how well the mattress cover fit and feels to the touch, not like older kinds of mattress covers! Tested it with plain H2O, and it worked perfectly!

I mean yeah you know kids are dirty but my goodness even if they shower before bed their beds still get nasty. So between kids regular dirty and they all sleep with their dogs, that inevitably make a mess. I got tired of washing the mattress toppers and mattresses so I figured it was time to try an upgraded cover as the fitted sheet ones are no match for these guys, and they are off halfway through the night.- This came in very well packaged.- It is of a nice quality and all the seams are good and there were no holes or tears.- The zipper is a tad flimsy but it does the job.- It goes on more or less like a sock, you do have to have a bit of room to get it on.- The end of the zipper tucks in/is covered so bugs/kids can’t easily get in.- It is extremely soft and comfortable.- Unlike some others it is silent and not crinkly when you move on it.- So far it has saved the mattress and mattress topper from having to be washed several times.- They have held up very well to kid and dog use.- It has survived being washed a few times now and came out looking new. Although I would suggest two that way the mattress is covered while one is being washed because again not having to scrub mattresses is worth it.So overall I would say this is a very good investment and well with every penny.

I have replaced the old mattress covers with Utopia covers, after the old ones had some sort of plastic materials and deteriorated after 5+years. I have ordered two covers one for Twin and second for Full mattress. We have 9inch mattress and I ordered 10inch, they fit very good, we ordered silk version, based on my water testing, we can use them on both sides. Based on my initial observation, seems these are great product and affordable for the quality. Time will tell, for now I give 5 starts and I recommend.

tamaño individual como para colchón más ancho del normal, sin embargo cumple muy bien con la protección y cierres buenos.compré el tamaño queen después y nunca llegó pero Amazon me reembolsó sin problema.

Echt een geweldig dekbedovertrek, jammer dat de hoogte niet overeenkomt met de 20-22cm van het matras. Nu kan ik geen hoogte van 17-19 cm vinden...als je die hebt, laat het me dan weten via e-mail wall1170@mail.ru

J’ai acheté cette housse de matelas sur Amazon, et je suis très satisfait de mon choix ! Elle est de très bonne qualité, bien ajustée et protège parfaitement mon matelas des taches et de l’humidité. La matière est agréable au toucher et respirante, ce qui rend mes nuits encore plus confortables. De plus, elle est facile à laver et ne se déforme pas après plusieurs passages en machine. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix, je recommande vivement cette housse à tous ceux qui veulent prolonger la durée de vie de leur matelas !
