Solid Stainless Steel Balls

To better understand each type of commonly used stainless steel and its properties, see the following descriptions.
- 440C Stainless Steel is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel. It has high strength, medium corrosion resistance, good hardness, and wear resistance
- 304 Stainless Steel is the most widely used stainless steel. It is austenitic stainless steel and has a higher corrosion resistance than ordinary steel.
- 316L Stainless Steel is also austenitic stainless steel. It offers higher corrosion resistance than 304.
- 201 Stainless Steel is the least expensive type of stainless steel. It is tough in cold environments but has lower corrosion resistance. It is the preferred choice for applications that require low cost, high durability, and no concern for exposure to corrosive elements.

The bearing are of an accurate size 10 mm which is what we needed to replace our worn out ones on the Buffers container lock. Worked very well, just what we needed.

I needed one 3.5 mm ball bearing to replace the lost ball bearing in my dewalt impact dcf885. I got an entire bag for the cost of one and I now have spares if the chuck comes apart again. The impact is back up and running.

I bought these for my small watercolor and tattoo ink bottles, and dropped one in each bottle (after sterilizing in isopropyl alc). They make shaking the ink a lot quicker! And importantly these are Stainless Steel so they will not corrode or react with the inks (you don't want rust going into your blood!)

The original steel balls are very expensive. Just buy a hundred if these and it will be enough for a lifetime.

The 10mm uxcell 304 stainless steel bearing balls where supposed to be non-magnetic, however these are are fairly strongly attracted to a weak disc magnet. Which I assume also means they aren't really 304 stainless. I previously purchased uxcell 20mm 201 stainless bearing balls and they where non-magnetic as advertised (no clue if they are really 201 stainless).
