I use these to sharpen tungsten electrodes. They work fine. (I only use the outside top portion of the disc so my tool marks all "point" toward the tip.) I do have to push the on the adhesive a couple of times to keep it adhered to the sander plate, but it holds for use.

materials and grit o.k but pads have dropped off the disc. I think adhesive is not the best compound. I think the Velcro style is a better way to go.

I clean the surface of the aluminum plate with acetone. It was spotless. The adhesive just does not stick.

You can't really complain about the price but they don't last long at all.I think they're probably a false economy. Next time I'll buy a better quality known brand.
