To better understand each type of commonly used stainless steel and its properties, see the following descriptions.
- 440C Stainless Steel is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel. It has high strength, medium corrosion resistance, good hardness, and wear resistance.
- 420 stainless steel is martensitic stainless steel, with certain wear resistance and corrosion resistance, high hardness, etc.
- 304 Stainless Steel is the most widely used stainless steel. It is austenitic stainless steel and has a higher corrosion resistance than ordinary steel.
- 316L Stainless Steel is also austenitic stainless steel. It offers higher corrosion resistance than 304.
- 201 Stainless Steel is the least expensive type of stainless steel. It is tough in cold environments but has lower corrosion resistance. It is the preferred choice for applications that require low cost, high durability, and no concern for exposure to corrosive elements.

I did not pay attention to the size, but my son still love them however you want to make sure your child is mature enough for this type of item. They are small enough to get stuck in ears, nose, and swallow.

I searched for magnetic balls, this popped up with the balls neatly connected together. These were clearly not magnetic balls, and should not have been listed with a search for magnetic balls. Once I opened the package the container was already open and several balls fell out. I'm not even able to return them now.

I should have received 300 but instead received 204. The pic shows the balls packaged in a small container but instead the balls come in a baggie. Disappointed.

The best way to clean out bottles, coffee maker reservoirs etc. where brushes can’t reach. Just be careful not to let them escape!
