Product Introduction

  • The chucking reamer is made of high-speed steel and cobalt, featured with high hardness, wear resistance, good toughness. High-speed steel tool with cobalt is good for general purpose applications.
  • Used for semi-finish machining and finish machining of holes. Suitable for stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, die steel, alloy steel, tool steel and non-ferrous materials.
  • The reamer is with more cutter teeth. Holes can get exact size and shape after the reamers' processing. Finished products are smooth, intact and more beautiful.

Applications

  • Can be used for processing holes, mainly to improve machining precision of holes and reduce the roughness. Can be manually operated or installed on drilling machines to work.

Warm Tips

Reamers can be used to process holes in small cuts based on guiding function, such as:

  • holes with diameter tolerance in ≤IT8;
  • holes with requirements in surface roughness (≤Rz12 genrally);
  • holes with requirements in roundness tolerance;
  • holes with requirements in cylindricity;
  • stepped holes (different diameter holes on the same axis);
  • series holes (diameter holes on the same axis) with requirements in high coaxality.

The reamer worked great for my one off use for it. It was sharp and reamed the hole accurately. I couldn’t ask for anymore than that especially considering the price.

Excellent tolerance! Reams holes to 5.7mm exactly. Can be used in a hand reamer as well.

I purchased two of the 7mm reamers at the same time. I was expecting two identical reamers to come in. When they arrived in two separate packages, I was a little skeptical. I compared the two reamers. You don’t have to be a machinist to notice the difference. The first one was the exact reamer I ordered. The second was not. Not only that but, the second reamer showed evidence of previous usage. When I attempted to use it, it would not even cut light steel. It was junk. Beware of this vendor, you need to order two to get one good one.
