Information
Can be used on screw machines, turret lathes, drilling and milling machines. Always keep reamers clean, and used with machine oil for long service use. Features just the base substrate without any coatings, suitable for wide ranges of applications.
Round shank can be used with a wide variety of tool holding systems. Should held in a good-quality toolholder in order to prevent the reamer from slipping in high torque applications.
Machine Chucking Reamers
4241 High Speed Steel
It has high hardness (HRC63-65), good toughness, wear resistance and thermal plasticity, used in soft, medium strength metal cutting conditions.
Spiral Flutes
Spiral groove facilitates the export of chips, saving time and effort in operation. Well suited for most applications in shallow cuts.
No Coatings
Designed with the base substrate without any additional coatings, good for wide ranges of applications.

My drill press table height adjustment handle broke. I ordered an after market replacement handle but the bore hole was 10.8mm and I needed a 12mm. I ordered this 12mm chucking reamer bit, put my drill press in its slowest speed, set up the clamp and reamed out the bore hole to 12mm. Worked great on the steel handle!. It made a smooth cut for a perfect fit!

I liked that it was a spiral reamer and the price was inexpensive.I used the reamer to ream out many 20 mm holes in a Baltic birch work table top I made. The holes were bored 20 mm, but rebounded a little post boring, leaving holes too tight a fit for my 20 mm bench dogs. After reaming the hole the fit on the 20 mm dogs (actual diameter 19.9 mm) was just right.I fitted a 6 flat 11/16†socket to the shank by filing 6 small flats on the end of the 18 mm shank and driving the socket on with a hammer. This allows me to drive the reamer with any socket driver, hand or power.

Shank size on product page is 12.5mm. Shank size shipped is 15mm. I have a 1/2 inch chuck (12.7mm), so this reamer is useless.

The spiral shape works better than the straight reamer, less passes as it does not fill up as fast. I use a lot of oil and very low speed on battery drill.Love them.
