We up cycle wine, liquor, and beer bottles into all sorts of household/bar items. We use these in our chandeliers and other items we build. These allow us to use the pulley wire to hold the light in a whiskey stave and hold the whole thing up. These clamp onto the wire and will not allow the wire to slip.

Very consistent product, good quality, great price. We are modifying a bunch of light fixtures so they have cords instead of being hardwired, and these do fine for most 18/3 SO cables IF you remove the rubber insert. It's actually a bit too small for that use, but works well and the smaller size makes them easier to drill holes for.

This item is missing all the rubber / nylon washers which defeat the purpose of this item which is to water proof your connection along with securing your cable. I do not recommend this item.

Don't buy these unless you plan to purchase rubber gaskets separately. They advertise them as waterproof but they are not as they don't include any gaskets with them.
