Made sure this would fit our car and when received it seemed like it did. However our belt kept breaking took to mechanic and was told the alternator was wrong that it was just a little too short in one section and that it was meant for a honda odyssey not a honda pilot like we have.

This is an alternator for my 2013 acura tl. Alternator Fits almost perfectly except for I had to file down the silver rings, Were it screws on to the car For a flush fit. Other than that The alternator works great good power. No issues so far.

Works excellent. 2010 Honda odyssey is notorious for its degree of difficulty in alternator replacement.But this part does fit .I suspect because it fits many different models and brands is the reason for the bolt hole discrepancy.If you are replacing this at home and the bolt is not fitting through correctly.DO NOT WORRYYou have the right part , head down to a machining shop or auto parts store and get it enlarged. It will take you less than 20 minutes.If you have the tools to do it yourself; Alhamdulillah, just grind the opening a little bit and it will fit right in .

It was a perfect fit, and it's been in the car 2 weeks, I left lights on once, charged battery up and hasn't been an issue. Buy it !

Replacement on a 2010 Honda Pilot Touring. Replaced in September of 2023. Still running strong after 3 months going on to 4th month. No issues. Works as intended.

It appears to be working but MEASURE YOUR OLD ALTERNATOR!One other customer review mentions having to grind down the lower mount. I show the lower mount on my old alternator (2009 Honda Odyssey), it measures ~ 0.5-1.0 mm SMALLER than the alternator for sale. This item is TOO BIG! WON't FIT!Luckily I was able to grind down the lower mount lip AFTER going through the trouble of GETTING IT IN THERE. Using a dremel and a grinding stone...I am SO grateful that I didn't have to take this out.LESSON LEARNED, even if you go with some other aftermarket piece, always measure. ALWAYS MEASURE.
