I usually get the ones at the dollar store and they’re about a quarter of the size this thing is great because it’s big and so it holds more water. A lot of people think it’s just for wet places and that’s not true. It actually absorbs odors as well so if you have an odor that you can’t really tell what it is and you can’t get rid of it your throw this in there and within about a week or two (yes you have to be patient and won’t happen overnight) the order just disappears. I like the design. The build qualities is great. The ease-of-use is great and it seems to work very well. And when the item gets full of water because eventually it will you just throw it away and put down a new one it’s so easy. These things are great. Everybody should have it in their house. I try to put one in every room. It leaves the room smelling fresh and it’s not like it’s a perfume smell. It just is like fresh air. Why pay $100-$200 for an air purifier when you can get this and it definitely helps… yes it is expensive, but the build quality, and the fact that it could hold so much more. Water is definitely worth the money.

These are a great value for money and there is minimal scent. I do love how you are able to see them work over time with the collected water. These help with removing water and moisture from the air. They are easy to use and the size of them help to put them in a corner of a room. Clean up is easy by just throwing them away, but be careful if they have collected water so they don't make a mess.

We are using these in our camper. We use them last year also and they sucked up a lot of water out of the air. The fact that we could just use them and throw them away when they’re done they work really well.

We moved into a new house and I noticed it was getting very damp and musty. Bought these based on the positive reviews and as far as removing dampness, these do the job! It’s been maybe 6 months and there’s still a lot of absorption potential left, using 2 per level of our house. Only negative is there is really no smell, but that also means you can get any color you want!
