I've bought several braces that he hasn't liked but he likes this. Gives him support without too much bulk.Used the suspender straps at first but now he likes it without. He had a compression fracture in lowerback so this is comfortable and gives enough support to make him feel secure and help to not put too muchstrain on lower back during healing process. He does where it over a T-shirt so that protects him from scratchingor anything like that.

I like the two stage closure system. I've had other back support belts but this one is the first with the double closure.It really makes a difference. The only thing that I would warn a potential buyer of is their sizing makes absolutely no sense. None. It shows that a large fits 40" to 48" waist. I have a 36" waist and the large BARELY fits me. If you get the right size, it's a great belt.

Bought for my son who lifts heavy furniture and equipment at his job.The straps didn't really help keep it in place and he said it slipped a lot. I traded him with my back brace whichfut him better and I cut the annoying straps off and it helps me when my back hurts or I need extra support while doing chores.Durable after many washes and reasonably priced.

I'm not sure why the description states "Heavy Duty" Elastic Belt. Its a belt and elastic. But not "Heavy Duty". If you truly NEED a Heavy Duty belt, look else where. For occasional use this belt is fine. If you work in a factory or warehouse and require a "Heavy Duty" belt, this isn't it. Its perfect for my occasional use.
