You know that feeling you get when you do something really stupid? That's exactly why I had to buy one of these. I backed our camper into a small hill and broke the waste water tank fittings. Thankfully they were empty. Could you imagine if they weren't? Ewwww! Anyway, I needed one of these to make the repair and it was a direct replacement for my original part on my 2013 Forest River RV. After my last experience I had hoped this one would have been a little more robust, but it's the same as the old one. I'm putting up in a seasonal site this year and will hopefully never move the camper again.

Easy to install, used a board and hammer to slowly tap it into place after removing the old cracked cap on my gray tank. I found a proper fitting hose clamp on here and its now bone dry in the compartment. Easy DIY fix. Also recommend the valtera 1.5" dump valve, good products. I upgraded and replaced the entire gray lines from this cap and used one abs street elbow and 2 Fernco fittings from the big orange box store. Better than new!

So glad I found this. Needed to replumb my RV waste tank (grey) and this worked perfect. Note that this fits INSIDE the neck of the tank whereas the factory install appeared different. I miscalculated the length of pipe needed as a result. Here's a tip, clean your tank neck thoroughly and put on some PB Blaster to lubricate the fitting. For a moment I thought I wasn't going to get it pushed in, but it finally worked. WD 40 works too but not as well.

Like how the Inside of the reducer is flat instead of having the lip to accommodate pipe wall thickness. Fit right in and works flawlessly.

Regular reducers leave water at the bottom of our horizontal 3" sump pipe, which freezes in the cold. This reducer allows the water to drain almost completely after the flow stops. We use it for a sump pump system where the pumps run on and off. Needed an F-F 3" adapter to mate the reducer to the 3" main pipe. Be careful when ABS gluing as once you push and rotate to the proper orientation it's stuck there. I marked the alignment and did a few dry fit tests first before gluing and rotating into the exact alignment. It should have gone in another 1/4", but as I pushed it in as hard as I could and it set as in the photo and is the correct lowest location. No leakage. Works great.
