In addition to my PCV valve system I needed some additional crank case ventilation to help the airflow. I found this after doing some research. I figure for $15, I can’t lose. The quality was better than I expected. It fit perfectly, and cleared the low profile hood of the Corvette without touching. I installed it and took the car on a test drive. It appears to accomplish exactly what I wanted to do. I’m going to buy a couple extras for back up.

I bought this because it looked like the same size as my truck engine filler cap even though it’s for an LS. I was so glad it fits because my trucks engine has a lot of crank case pressure at idle that the pcv system does not vent. So to prevent blowing out seals as is common with the Duramax, I installed this breather. Works great and fits perfectly.

Deep scratch in the top of the breather out of the box. The fit is nice in the valve cover but just wished more care was put into not shipping me a blemished part.
