First, very easy to install. Second, it's the same quality as GM valve cover I replaced. Last, morning start ups no smoke and seems to burn a lot less oil. 2009 Chevy Silverado 5.3 with 160K ( hoping to get 160K more.) Note the PCV tube from the valve cover has metal ring. Hose connection will not slide over I cut off the plastic connection and hosed clamped rubber piece Seems to run fine with no vacuum leak or engine light code.

I ordered 2 of these for my 2 trucks stopped the smoking and oil burning but go on you tube and watch videos you need drill more holes and make the oil drain hole bigger I used 3/16 drill bit easy peasy

2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3 .. motor would smoke on start up due to poor pcv port ,this was a flaw in the system .as the car warms up it stopped smoking as it was clogged due to the original design,this valve cover is the upgrade to solve the problem,it's not the valve seals .this is the problem and this will fix ya problem .

My pcv was out and check engine light on . This was exactly the fix . Truck is running grated and no more lights on

Worked out good but they gave me a passenger side valve cover gasket with the new driver side valve cover, not sure what was going on with that but the new valve cover had better casting then the oem ac delco valve cover that I took off so I am happy with the purchase.UPDATE: The new valve cover has been on my avalanche ltz for about two months now and it has been working good with zero leaks, it also fixed the notorious gm oil burning problem in my truck.

Most of GM’s replacement parts are made in anywhere but the US nowadays so don’t overpay for something that has a very simple function. Came with a gasket and RTV, so installation was easy. Quality seems to be ok as well, it’s not plastic so the durability is increased because of that.
