There was a time a few years ago that I didn't really think that much of Dorman automotive products. I saw them as a cheap budget alternative to superior OEM parts. And I don't think Dorman has really changed much...but the quality of OEM parts for a lot of manufacturers has fallen to such a great extent that Dorman now matches OEM quality and sometimes exceeds it.That's the case for this valve cover. As is the way with nearly every GM 1.4 L turbo, the intake manifold blew that little check valve and in turn blew out the valve cover's integrated PCV diaphram on my girlfriend's Buick Encore. Everywhere I looked online said Dorman replacements were the way to go for this problem- so I bought the Dorman intake manifold from another seller, and got the valve cover/pcv from here. Installed it all over the course of a couple hours and had zero problems with fit or installation. Its been over 10k miles since I did the fix and there are no signs of leaks or cracks or any other problems with these Dorman replacements. Everything's still working great.

I’m happy , Oe quality . New bolts , and gasket included. Installed in 20 mins . Don’t forgot the Rtv, 71 inch pounds on the bolts . Back on the road.

great fit for my daughter's buick encore. Be careful when tightening the bolts or the plastic will crack. I recommend a torque wrench.

Easy fit, super easy to replace. quality of the plastic look really cheap looking since it is from china. I prefer a matte plastic cover so it doesn't look so after marketly. i have been having issues with my cover for a while. leaking oil thru the gasket. This is the 2nd cover i replaced thru amazon, dorman brand. haven't replaced my intake manifold yet also check your MAF and spark plugs. can trigger a few codes for your turbo. great price and decent product. definitely get a new car.

Absolutely dethreaded my engine bolts 2 were ruined after trying this product. The screws on this is trash it gave and ruined the thread now I gotta fix this and never touch this again. Did not over tighten I was hand tightening the whole time…
