Adjustable left/right and up/down as well as focusing the spotlight into a tight or wider beam. Also has a switch to change color temp of the LED light output. In short… a very adjustable light.

I’ve bought three different types of these lights. This has the best CRI out of all. Unfortunately these type of zoomable lights do not spot well and there’s a lot of light scatter that is very broad at the light periphery. This light uses a Fresnel lens making this light the most compact out of these type of lights. It’s also lighter and weight. The quality seems to be very good.I would’ve given this light a three but again all these type of Zoomable lights have in my opinion way too much light scatter at the periphery to be spotlights.I bought a 3 degree fixed beam angle on Amazon that performs better.

I had issues with the connectors provided with my existing single wire ceiling wiring. Ultimately, didn't use the provided connectors.It also appears to be "quirky" with the GE dimmer I purchased. But ultimately I got it to work acceptably.On the plus side, the three different light temperatures where all good and the variable focus works OK by moving a lens forward and backward in the housing. But it seems sometimes you have to fully retract the focal setting to get the light to come on which can be a pain if you have to get on a ladder to do so.I debated on a 3 or 4 star rating but decided finally on 4 because we got it to perform for us as expected.I'll update this review if anything changes going forward.

When I tried , I liked the product very much except for the fact that all controls went through its control box and thus the light could not be controlled externally –via a timer or a remote control; and I have seen that the seller has a variety of different lights, including ones that could accommodate external control.This spotlight is one of such lights. It has no control box, on/off and dimming can be controlled through the input power line – which is not included in the package, since it is intended for a ceiling mount. If you’d like to mount it on a floor or on a wall, adding a cable would be very simple – that is what I have done for my trial.There are still controls on the light body – the physical switch for light colour (this one has three settings for warm, neutral and cold white) and the adjustment of the beam angle (nominally between 15°and 60°) by rotating the front of the light (as seen in a picture).Everything said for the fixed light with regards to the quality, packaging and instructions applies here: solid product, brief and useful instructions, very presentable. A five star product – if you just want to know about this light as such, you may skip the rest.Here’s a little more on the use of this product and matching it with other lights – like the aforementioned fixed beam angle light or pinspots (the pictures included – note that these are not parts of this product).My interest in these kinds of lights came from observing a room with very nice discrete lighting – which at the same time made it look somewhat drab; wouldn’t it be nice to add some focused light accents? The pinspots (like the black one in the picture) reminded me of lekolites – professional theatrical lighting fixtures with an excellent control of the width and the sharpness of the light beam; I worked with them in one of my previous lives, volunteering on a community theatre production. Unfortunately, these pinspots are similar only by the looks – there is no control of the size or sharpness of the beam – it is very narrow and very sharp (also in the picture) – so they were basically useless for something discreet that I wanted to do.The fixed beam VANoopee light I tried first was much closer to what I wanted – may be a tad wider than I’d like (at nominal 24°beam angle) – so I was looking forward to the light reviewed here – as it can be closed down to 15°, at least nominally. Since the beam does not have the sharp edge, it is a bit difficult to make a definite comparison – but I did not feel that the zoom light could be set any narrower than the fixed beam one. The pictures are attached – though admittedly it may be even harder to gauge from the photos. The two lights were at the same distance from the object, about 14 feet.The other difference was in the light colour – that one would be completely hopeless to assess from the photos, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. For each individual light, I never try to go by the nominal colour temperature – I just go by what looks good to me. For this setup, I took second warmest of the colours available on the fixed beam light – nominally 3000°K. The light reviewed here has only three colour settings – nominally 3000°K, 4000°K and 5000°K. The warmest one looked the best – and despite being nominally the same, still looked a bit colder than the fixed beam light. Under certain circumstances this might be a problem, depending on what you are trying to achieve. Since I was lighting a three-dimensional object from two sides, this might be actually advantageous – a trick I had used in my previous life was putting different gels on the lights coming from two different sides to deliberately achieve the warmer and the cooler side and thus emphasize the third dimension. So I am pretty happy with the final effect.Good stuff, these lights. Recommended!

This light fixture is top quality! The fit and finish is flawless as the pictures shows. You can easily rotate the tip of the lens to adjust the focus of the light. The button to switch between light "color" is easily accessible and also super easy to use. Once the fixture is installed, you can rotate and tilt the light up and down to adjust it in the exact direction you need it. Installation is very easy, instructions and everything needed for installation is in the box. Considering the performance and the fit and finish of this light, I would totally recommend it!
