Works well, just make sure to look closely. Cat pee isn't super bright under a black light, but it does glow a bit.

Good light weight size and fits well in hand; good wide pattern and distance to spot scorpions before you get close. Solid metal build and easy one button click. Exactly like the photo.We have a scorpion problem in our house—“in†our house. I had a bug guy come out and spray 7 months ago and then I periodically spray around the entry points. But over the past 7 months we found 6 inside the house, all dead. Then in Oct, I found another by my bed, still alive so I decided to step up the fight.I had the bug guy come back out, he suggested I buy a spray that is specific for scorpions saying it’s better than their general spray and he told me black lights are useless. I’m still waiting for the spray to arrive, but for like $10 I bought a black light anyway—-Holy Crap, the light works like magic. I found 3 more scorpions, all dead, in my son’s room that I had missed under white light! Our problem is they are small (about 2-4 inches long) and they blend in with the carpet color and some of our decor.If you think you don’t need a black light, you are wrong —GET ONE. They light up scorpions like a Xmas tree. It is unbelievable.Don’t know how long the batteries last, it came with three. I just started using it last night. But I’m getting one for my wife and one for my son.

Honestly this is a pretty decent little UV flashlight, comes in pretty handy for many things. I’ve used it for automotive leak finding, but mostly for pet stain locating. And it does well for that. While the manufacturer/seller touts that the LEDs are rated up to 12 years, mine has a single LED that has burnt out at being 3.5 years old. And I honestly hadn’t really used it much in that time, only in the last year have I been using it. Since we got a new puppy a year ago, we’ve been working on potty training and there have been many accidents! This light did a great job in finding those pee spots so I could clean them. But I can’t say that I expect this light to last for as long as they advertise as an led has already gone out, and I’m sure there is more to follow.*A tip: rather than using the 3 AA batteries that put out a total of 4.5V collectively, I use a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 3.7V battery (when fully charged is t is at 4.2V). I can also easily fit a 26650 Li-ion battery, for even longer run times without needing to recharge as often. Using the Li-ion battery actually helps the light perform better and much longer than the AA batteries, while also not exceeding the input voltage.Also, I tried this brand’s (Vansky) 100 LED UV flashlight, and the 51 LED outperforms the 100 LED.

This might be the best UV/Blacklight flashlight I’ve ever purchased. Have had it for a few years now and it still works great. It’s been left outside in the rain, snow, sun, it’s had batteries explode in it and it still works just like the day I got it.

I have only had this for about a week now. But so far, it works very well for what I needed it for. Like many other reviewers, the room lit up like the 4th of July when I turned it on (at night, and with no other lights on...a little gross actually!). However I was pleased to see that I could clearly tell the difference in what I was in search of...cat having urinated outside of the litter box- (bright yellow) and old stains or chemicals (white). After reading multiple reviews for many black flashlights, I expected many areas to “light up†but was also worried that I may have trouble distinguishing between the “bright yellow glow†and “the white glow†mentioned in many reviews, to help decipher between pet urine and other benign things (including old cleaning solutions/treatments).There were no discrepancies or any confusion with this black flashlight! I was quickly able to identify the “problem†area for my cat.It’s also an added bonus that the light came with batteries, was well packaged for shipment, and is very durable! My cat has knocked it off (presumably accidental lol) of the hutch on my computer desk 3 times in 2 days, and tried to chew the wrist strap (which shows no evidence of this!). Money well spent!

Received 2 of same no batteries. Ordered 1 large with bonus smaller. Lights work but wanted larger area than bonus purse size lights. Good buy other wise. Kept both
