As soon as it arrived I put this tool straight to work. As expected from this company it performs flawlessly and is showing no signs of damage to the hammer ends even after chipping a lot of welds. Great too worth every penny and made in the USA!

Best chipping hammer I’ve owned to date. We are a professional welding and fabrication company. One of our main jobs requires us to do hundreds of slot welds each year. Due to the design the only way to clean for 75% of the weld is with a chipping hammer. I personally have worn out dozens of chipping hammers bought from various suppliers. Most of not all have been made in Not the USA.I was glad to find these chipping hammers. For one we are moving away from everything made in a certain place. These hammers are pricier than your standard made in you know where hammer. When I received the hammers I noticed that they are forged in the USA, 100% made here.I have used this chipping hammer now on over 300 slot welds. The end is still the same as it was when I bought it. By now my substandard hammers need a sharpening. Once you start to sharpen them it’s all downhill from there.We will be purchasing more of these in the future and they will be the only chipping hammers we will have in our shop and on our truck/trailer. Thank you for an awesome product that supports American workers.

This hammer is very sturdy overall. Great design, nice handle geometry. But, I did want to get the paint off. After trying to sandplast it, I figured out it was poder coated and the business end was very heavily clear coated.You can't see it in the picture, the the pined side if the hammer is more curved than it shows, resembling a tooth of a steel garden rake. Great for raking slag off your welds.I'm thinking of removing the hard rubber handle it has and fitting a custom hickory or maybe oak handle to it instead, so the rubber doesn't melt.Also, the American flag design on the handle is just a sticker.

This tool is well balanced and does the jobs of slicing and impact removal of slag well.How to review a hammer? Once you are in the flow of things, you kinda forget that it is anything other than a tool.

The entire head is painted and the finish grind is quite poor. I am not gonna return as I can grind it myself in a few minutes. Not pleased for the price. Should have got an Estwing

Parfait et très efficace ce marteau, grande dureté don. Les chocs sont efficaces comme de traîner le marteau au bord du cordon. Retire bien les projections de soudure grâce à son tranchant.Moins d'effort au niveau poignet ...

Es la mejor piqueta que he tenido. Manejable, resistente y perfecta de peso. Me la perdió alguien a quien se la presté, y ahora es imposible encontrar una igual de esta o de otra marca. ¿Alguien sabe dónde pudiese adquirir una?

El martillo me parece demasiado caro para lo que se utiliza. Aunque se ve de buena calidad, pesa demasiado en la mano.
