This is a 'get what you pay for' product.Upon arrival, one of the cork pieces had fallen off and none of them are very secure.The open end of the mute has sharp edges that could scratch your instrument.Overall, the quality of the mute in terms of construction and materials is poor. As well, the one I received had scratches on it. Sound quality when in use was also poor.
