Replaced a torn inner tube in my son’s mountain bike. Bought as a set for a great price. Can’t beat that. We now have extras to take along the trail. Hopefully we won’t need it but it’s good to have.

I ordered a set of these tubes and I struggled with them all going flat (all 4). After the first 2 went flat I even changed out one of my tires and the next 2 also went flat shortly after. I was upset and contacted the seller to complain and ask for a refund. Eric promptly responded to me and offered a refund without any questions asked. He even went above and beyond and offered me another set of tubes at no charge just to give them another try. I accepted, and the new batch of tubes are working great - first 2 are good and not flat, and the other 2 are waiting as spares. Thanks to Eric and Velo Tubes for exemplary customer service and a good product at a good value!!

Bought 4 tubes from Amazon resale that had been returned and 2 tubes had bad presta valves. Contacted Velo and they hooked me up with 4 more tubes for free!

I am retired from owning a bike shop and do a little charity repair work on bikes. I have installed thousands of bike tubes over 50 years and these tubes seem to be of very good quality. Presta valves are designed so that they can be removed if you want to install a sealant. Shape of tube was uniform when I inflated out of the box. As with any tube you have to be careful when installing, as I have had many customers over the years complain that a tube was defective when it was clearly a problem with the install process. The first of these tubes I installed on a bike that had a extremely tight tire fit and I thought that I might damage the tube during the install, but it held up using care on my part. I expect to order this product again.

I ordered a set of four 29" inner tubes with presta valves. They came nicely packaged. These seem like good durable inner tubes. They are made of thick rubber that seems like it will hold up well over time. The presta valves also appear durable, with reinforcement where the base of the valve joins the main inner tubes. If they don't hold up, I'll update my review.

Background of use: I am an avid (daily) and somewhat aggressive rider, somewhat larger than average at 6' and 215#. I've used these tubes mostly on a singlespeed 26" mountain bike with 2.1 tires at 45psi on 22mm rims. I set these up with ample talc powder so they can slide in the tire casing. My rides include short rock gardens and log pile roll overs. The pro's-Great price.-Presta valves are fully threaded unlike other cheap budget brands. The con's:-I expect occasional thorn punctures and snake bite pinch flats, but I've had about 30% of these fail at the seams. Because of the pronounced exterior molding seams, it is impossible to get a patch to adhere even with rigorous sandpaper roughing. Some of the seam failures are also quite lengthy and catastrophic even without tire or wheel damage. Is simply felt like a quick deflation.-The valve core is not removable if you use tube sealant, nor replaceable if bent.Would I buy these again? Answer is yes, and I have due to pricing, but they are largely throwaways when damaged. A lighter person or occasional rider would probably be fine, but if looking for durability far from home, weigh your price options carefully.

Already installed one as I pinched the original while installing a new tire.Be warned that the valve is quite long so check the size you need before ordering. It makes no difference in performance but if you're OCD definitely check what you want first.Comes with washer, nut and cap.Recommended.
