Used this to replace OE cowl to hood seal. Slightly taller, but perfect fit. The metal reinforced female end fit tightly over the cowl tab. Bulb end looked thick and seemed OE quality. The 5’ roll was the right size, I left an extra half inch on each side and had several inches leftover to trim when I was done. Be sure to face it with the air holes (only 2-3) facing the engine bay. The next preventative measure, if you’re working on an older f150: use a thick bead of black gasket seal to then seal the plastic cowl to the metal engine bay plate it’s sitting on to prevent leaks inside hood. Go all the way to the inside fender.

Nice seal. Seems solid. For whatever reason would not stay in place in one direction for my application. But flipping it 180 degrees did the trick. Durability? Only time will tell, so far so good.

I bought this to replace the weatherstripping on the trunk of our 2003 Toyota Corolla. It takes a little time to put it in, if you want to do it right. The results were fantastic! No more leaks in the trunk when it rains.

Fit perfectly and seals my hood to the body like it’s supposed to do. Definitely way cheaper than OEM and looks exactly the same.

Better than the original that came with my RV. The originals toasted in a year. This should last me way longer than the originals. Easy to install in less than 5 minutes, didn't have to glue them since they have a pretty good grip.

used to waterproof outer rim of of the hard tonneau bed cover on my Subaru Baja (3/16" thick fiberglass painted color matching its body) and it helped spraying a soapy solution on the edge to install the trim seal on it. There may be a trick on right angle corners by trimming out a small bit of the trim from the inner side of the corner where it bunches together and won't seat completely. I'll give it time to see whether it eventually seats fully or pulls out further before deciding if such trimming is necessary.
