Finally a pail opening tool with the additional torque required to open UN-rated pails by hand, just slide the side guide under the lid lip and pry for easy removal of the lid. The end hook is used to open steel pails: hook the lid lug and pry open. The opposite end is used to close and seal the lid by bending the lug back around the steel pail lip.

Very crude casting of metal , I will have to grind and sharpen the hook in order to open metal pails.
