Gets the job done, sturdy design, well made. I cleaned 2 very tall chimeys in my Cali Contemporary style home (modern 70’s style with lots of angles), and it worked like a champ! I have to admit I was a bit sceptical when I first looked at it though, but surprisingly its high quality. I also like the fact that if theres too much torque on your drill the poles seem to detach themselves instead of snapping, thats a HUGE design plus for these poles and the metal snap-in fit they have. These poles are also very flexible, handled an extreme 90 degree angle pipe like it was made for the glory. Thusly, I highly recommend this device. Its a dirty job though, so have a vac handy with a filter and bag designed for ashes and fine debris. And this kit also comes with gloves and a cleaning sponge, whoah! Thats a nice touch, I really liked seeing that because it left me with the impression that the folks msking this product are thinking through the process thoroughly. Thats a winner. Nice product, was glad to find it on Amazon at a great price and that its well made, so I’ll be able to use it again in the future. A+

kit works well. did have 1 pole come unbuttoned. i was using all poles and working fm bottom up. 3rd pole i removed the last 2 came unbuttoned and fell to the bottom. didnt happen again though so not sure what happened. i want to know if theres a adapter for this to make it into a female threaded end to use threaded brushes also for other sweeps. if i knew what size button clip is then i can order one elsewhere. also i wish i could order 2 more poles seperate. im doing some homes that are 2 story and wood burner in basement. i will use this and see how long it last with me doing 1 or 2 sweeps a week this season. this is on its 3rd use now no issues or wear yet

Saved me a ton of money vs. hiring a chimney company to sweep. Best part is I didn't need to get on a ladder. Tape a plastic drop cloth around fireplace opening hook it up to a drill and go! Really great product. I now have peace of mind knowing creosote buildup won't start a chimney fire

Man this is amazing for cleaning out ductwork. I just bought my first home and there is mostly hard square ducting and some flex plastic ducting for cooking and heating connected to both evaporative (swamp) cooler and a 4 ton HVAC on the roof. The owner rented and people smoked in the home. Most things were replaced from failing before I got it but the duct work I was afraid of for having who knows what built up in there and no one thinks to clean them so 40 years of that. I toke a chance for this to help me clean it and with suiting up and a respirator and a drill this was more than sufficient and you can not imagine the crap that came out. I will now clean them once a year or 2 depending on if I use the swamp cooler ever or not.The one bad thing about it is the button design to keep the rods together is way better than threaded cause you can reverse when needed and easier to swap off and on. But some are weaker than others at holding and falling off in the ductwork if the bend even a little. So I suggest this kit just get more rods cause you will probably have a couple weaker holding ones. Other than that it's perfect and packaged well and made to have replaceable fingers on the head piece.

Escribo solo dejar claro que es absolutamente necesario usar el taladro. En mi caso unos pájaros hicieron su nido en la chimenea. Y probé primero a usarlo "sin" el taladro, al llegar al primer codo de 45 grados se topa y no avanza.Usando el taladro los codos los pasa sin ningún problema, es la "rotación" del cabezal en forma de bola la que permite sortear los codos. En mi caso 2 de 45 grados. Pude quitar el nido y el hollÃn sin problema. Se ve resistente y duradero. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque es caro para lo que es , aunque contento porque me a resuelto el problema.
