  • Installation Made Easy: More than 70% of the parts of the CNC wood machine have been pre-assembled, so you only need to combine the three main parts of the offline controller, gantry frame, and base together and then plug in the power cord to use.
  • Engrave Various Materials: The CNC router engraver machine is capable of cutting, drilling, and engraving various soft, medium, and hard materials such as bamboo, wood, leather, plastic, foam, vinyl, etc., which helps you to achieve more engraving works of various types of materials and complicated patterns.
  • Notice: This product is not out of the box products, you need to understand the knowledge of CNC programming, the corresponding programming software need to pay extra to buy, this product does not provide programming software. We only provide test boards and corresponding test programmes. Carving material with too high hardness, too fast and too deep may lead to deviation from the trajectory, stopping in the middle, overheating of the motor and so on.

It's easy to set up and use. Doesn't work with Mac but works great with windows. Holds good tolerance and for the price it's hard to beat.

Packaged securely and arrived way faster than the expected delivery date. The machine was pretty easy to put together but during install found out that the bed came in two pieces of MDF instead of one and wouldn't line up properly. The bed will suffice though until I grab a new solid sheet of MDF to fit in it's place.

I have bought this machine 3 other time from 3 other companies and each time they did not run!I ended up returning them. I decided to try 1 MORE TIME and that would be it! I mean this was crazy, before I retired I designed & put CNC machines together? For crying out load! So , I am not a novice. This one was so easy to setup, They actual put most of it together for me. I just needed to attach the wire where indicated, and BAM! it is running!! I have been trying to make a piece for my dad ( Who is in his 80's ) for over 2 years!! Today I am running that piece as I write this.I am so happy with this machine, Thank You for selling a worth while product! I would tell anybody wanting to get in to this hobby to but this machine, Super Happy!!

UPDATE: support response is so bad I refuse to wait that additional week. My return was approved and it's all packed up pretty and on it's way home.---------I'm returning mine. I've had it 2 weeks and it has yet to complete a cut and/or engraving job, aside from the test run that simply engraves CNC on a piece of hardboard. The failures include randomly running off path, stopping in the middle of the job, randomly pausing in the middle of a job; a pause can be temporarily recovered from, but it is still unable to complete the job.Vevor Support is thus far useless. I'll give them one more week. Returning it is a PITA so I hope they make it right.

Received very quickly, assembled quite easily but that's when a few issues started appearing. One thing that's not listed anywhere is the emergency stop button is default engaged. Open that before turning the machine on and it works a whole lot better. 2nd issue is the y axis limit switch isn't really working. The other 2 axis work fine but the Y axis tries to keep pushing the gantry even though the limit switch is active and the bar can't go anywhere. A bit annoying actually as I can't really 'home' the unit. I haven't dug in to see what the problem is yet. I tried the screen based operation first, but it doesn't seem to want to work. It outlined the area, but didn't move the z axis to the medium's level or turn on the spindle. I'll try the computer connection in a day or two when I have more time. Overall I'm happy with the unit despite these issues. Construction is solid, labeling is very well done, packaging was great.

I liked the size of this and the assembly although complicated came out fine, although the drawings were a not so obvious, but I figured it out after looking at the parts. It would have been easier with bigger pictures. Wiring labels were a bit faded but all the wires were marked so that was fine. Everything else was satisfactory.

Just to set the tone, I am retired and create games and other small objects for fun. This is not a monetary endeavor nor do I do commissioned work. This is simply for my entertainment and the enjoyment of others who receive my work.I am still putting this machine through its paces but so far, I'm not impressed.I am currently running a Vevor 3018-Pro (worm gear drive) and decided I needed a little more workspace. Having used my 3018 for almost 2 years for many projects without issue (other than user error), I decided to go for a larger workspace. I'm just a hobbyist so I wanted to keep my cost down. So, after some research I chose to go for the Vevor 4040. What could happen, right?Vevor 4040ASSEMBLY 5 stars – Well this went much easier than I thought. Some of the components, i.e. the gantry and side rail drive components, came preassembled. This made final assembly a breeze. Nothing like the nightmare I had building my laser cutter. ☹CONNECTIVITY 5 stars – All the necessary power and USB cables were included, so again, piece of cake.SOFTWARE – I comes with Candle, but having used Candle previously, I switched to running OpenBuild v1.0.377 on Windows 10. I also use this with my 3018-Pro.Before I get into the details, I want to say I was extremely impressed at the noise reduction between the 3018-Pro and the 4040. Huge difference.CURRENT ISSUE(s) 2 stars - I am cutting small wooded pieces 45mm x 45mm x 3mm. In cutting these pieces, I need to change bits twice. Starting with 0.8mm, then 1.0mm then 2.0mm.Once I have my wood mounted on the machine, I load the first bit and set my Zero (home) position using the Z Probe that came with the machine. After each Bits cut is completed, I return to Zero before changing bits. I raise the Z-Axis, change bit and then reset my home ONLY for the Z-Axis again using the Z Probe.Sounds simple right? Well after 5 test cuts, using 2 different plans, mixed results. I’m using plans for pieces I have cut many, many times using my 3018.TEST 1 only required one bit change from 1mm (details) to 2mm (outline) and it came out perfect.TEST 2, 3, 4and 5 utilized all three bits sizes. During these tests I found different issues.Problem 1 -During the test the detail pattern cut seemed to shift farther to one side between each pass. Each pass is only .25mm, deep to a final depth of .75mm, but there was bit drift, as I’ll call it, between each pass.Problem 2 - TEST 5 everything seemed to be going along fine, until the final cut (outline) at 2mm. It appears the machine did not return to the proper Home (Zero) before I had changed to the 2mm bit. It was off by at least 1.8mm all the way around, so my detail design was no longer centered in the final border cut. After these attempts, I watched a few videos online regarding the tension of the belts to stop drift in the cuts among other things. I made no adjustments to my belts, they seemed pretty snug, and tried again. This time I watched like a hawk and discovered that each time I sent the machine to Zero (home) to change to the next bit, my home was off. I also found that while changing the bits, the gantry slid quite easily from side to side while I was in the process of changing bits. I would have though this would be as tight as the 3018 (worm gear drive), so I didn’t see it in my earlier test.TEST 6 – On my final test, I opened a pattern that cut 4 different game pieces and would utilize all three bits again. This time I marked up my board with a series of cross hatches so I could see the alignment of every piece during the cutting. Alas, the drift problem did not occur again, but I did see that the alignment was off when I sent it home for a bit change. I reset the home, changed bits and continued on. Upon completion, I discovered my pieces were smaller than expected. My pattern (grbl) sets the borders at 45mmx45mm. Every piece came out at 44mmx44mm. I had just used this pattern on my 3018, so I know it was set to the proper size.Final result for me was, Send it back. I’ll just make it work with my 3018 as long as I can or until it craps out. Then we’ll see what happens.

Great value for the amount of bits you get, and they worked as advertised.

I use them on hardwood like maple and beach. They stay sharp for a long time. I would buy them again.
