I purchased this for use on various lines, but primarily steel hydraulic line, stainless line, and occasion copper/nickel brake and fuel lines. This unit functions very well, with comparable results to the higher-priced competitors. The radius and diameter markings printed on the tool handles are accurate and help to simplify calculations for complex bends. I have had no issues with kinking or crushing of the tube, regardless of the tube material used, and am quite happy with this tool. The long handles also make the work much easier than many smaller units, a big deal when working on stainless hydraulic/pneumatic lines.

The build quality is very good works well but if you need it for plumbing dont get this one. video shows 1/2 inch or 12 mm copper pipe being bent but 1/2 copper ment for plumbing is considered 15 mm. This will not bent 15mm.

If you're planning on using this for copper PIPES, DON'T. It won't fit, this TUBING bender is made for tubing. People seem to be confused, copper pipes are measured at the I.D. so 1/2" pipes are 1/2" I.D. and is 15.85mm O.D. whereas 1/2" tubing is measured at the OD not ID, 12.7mm OD. If you're looking to bend copper pipes, look for a pipe bender.
