Overall a very good product. We have a few vevor products around and like them.This hook kit in general is pretty good. Multi direction mounting for either way you need your shackle. Comes with an extra pin which I put in the lock for safe keeping. Pins are also black which is a very nice detail.The shackle itself seems as good as any, same with the block, and the lock locks pretty sturdy.My only note which would be worthy of half a star is that I don't expect the rubber cover on the shackle to stay very long. It's pretty loose fit and just kinda sits there. It won't come out without trying but moves alot, so I super glued mine to the ring and will see how long it holds.

Mostly I bought this for the look, but I can easily tell it's functional and durable. I do keep a pull strap in the truck for getting someone out of a jam in the winter. This is the least I can do as a 4X4 owner. I do recommend this product.

The hitch with shackle was a lot nicer than I thought it would be for the money. Looks and feels heavy duty. Came with rubber washers to keep the shackle from rattling, a screw in shackle bolt, retaining pins and a hitch pin. Can’t go wrong with this!

I was happily surprised to find how heavy this device is. It looks like a quality piece where attention was paid to the manufacturing process and quality control. I like how smoothly the shackle and bolt work together, and the protective plastic (or whatever it is) on the shackle seems like it will protect a tow strap, kinetic rope or soft shackle. I got my money’s worth.

Seems to be built solidly enough. Comes with rubber isolation washers to reduce noisy vibration. Ihave not had an opportunity to use it yet, but will update when I do.

Quality product from Vevor; I'm glad I bought it.I didn't realize that wrapping a rope or tow strap around a ball hitch/receiver assembly is COMPLETELY WRONG and could get you killed! People have been KILLED by doing that! (Search YouTube!)You need one of these to tow safely. And the LOOP (red part) should be VERTICAL so that it moves left/right instead of your tow straps moving left/right! According to YouTube videos, most people get it wrong.Hope this helps somebody!

Very impressed with the quality of this hitch. It's beefy and evokes the feeling of confidence. I have, thankfully, not had the opportunity to use it and hope that I only have to use it in the case of emergency. But, the quality gives me great confidence that it would perform in any situation it might be required. The shackle is high quality and nicely powder coated. It's course threads are smooth and don't stick like other shackles. The shackle bolt comes drilled at the end to accommodate a cotter pin to ensure it won't loosen while in use. The unit also comes with a nice hitch bolt and pin, so you can keep the unit completely intact or stored for when you need it. The actual hitch is nicely powder coated and the finish is clean. An added touch is the rubber washers that come, including and extra set, installed between the shackle and the hitch itself to reduce wear and noise when in use. I'm impressed and would buy it again if needed.
