This is hands down the best kettle I could find.I had previously owned 3 different electric kettles over the years. Even the stainless steel types had some plastic parts in them, and over time their look and difficulty to clean became tired. This time around, I was looking for a new type of design and this product has them all.In order of importance I looked for:- plastic and BPA free materials. The stainless steel base and beautiful durable glass work just perfect. There is a plastic cap on top, as the only plastic part, but it does not touch the water. From practicality standpoint, plastic cap makes sense, as the often removed element would be subject to breakage.The glass is super durable. Personally I would never worry about breaking it.- easy to clean; this is the 1st product I was able to find that has wide opening. No baby hands needed to clean it.- stylish look for our kitchen. Love the classic, clean European design.- temp controls for boiling point, coffee, and teas.- fast boiling. This unit reaches boiling point about 50% quicker compared to my previous kettle. It seems to have a larger heating element.After 1 year of usage, we liked this product so much that we ordered a 2nd one recently for ourselves and planning to get another one to gift to our family.One characteristic to consider is its width. The unit has slightly larger width than most kettles. For me it is a plus (due to ease of cleaning and wider heating element for faster boiling), just something to consider for very tight spaces.

We ordered it last night and it came this morning. I am VERY impressed with this tea pot! It was packed VERY well and it's PERFECT for us. I was all set to get this other set - but actually tired of 'plastic' things. This is definitely better quality than the other too. Stainless steel and glass. AND despite peoples complaints I find the tea nice and HOT as "I" like it too! Didn't cool off as fast as it would with the other machine. I'm truly in love with this machine - and YOU could also afford to give this as a gift for a loved one/or friend too! Ooohhh I do hope they come out with a piece to use for k-pods too - but I really don't care as I love it just as it is!!!!

It looks good. I have used it a few times now and here are some things I like and some things where it could have been better.I like the following features:1. The base has all the controls with large buttons. When cleaning the kettle, water doesn't impact any of the controls.2. Light weight3. Large wide mouth, easy to clean4. It has settings to brew all the different tea types I likeHere are things that can be improved:1. Button labels are not backlit, there is light around the button.2. Too many parts. The 'Kettle lid' is a concern. It gets hot, so one has to be careful handling it. The only way to remove it is to put a finger inside and pop it. This is a super important part and seals the kettle and the infuser/infuser lid. I am not sure it is durable. I am very worried about this part.3. Only 30 minute 'keep warm' feature. I'd have liked it to have at least 45 minutes - 60 minutes would be best.4. I tried to register the kettle on using the QR code they provided and also the Viante website , only to get a http 404 error on both occasions. That is very bad indicator of how this company handles its support.Other 'nice to have' items:1. I wish the kettle would show the current temperature of the beverage. It only shows the current selection and one has to guess that is the current temperature.2. Overall it doesn't feel sturdy. I am not sure how long it will last and it is an expensive item.

This unit is so easy to use, great tea in minutes, Was going to buy a less expensive one, so gald i didn't.It also looks so nice in m y newly remodled kitchen.

Súper funcional, sobre todo por el tema de a diferencia de las otras, ésta tiene temperaturas para c/tipo de té. Y es muy elegante.

Shouldn't sell this kettle to places that don't have 110v mains. It's dangerous

This kettle does a good job at keeping the desired pre-set temperatures. We had an issue where the glue on the lower handle came off and is now only secured at the top. This is a safety issue and should not be used in case the top portion breaks off when pouring hot water.

Soy alérgica y este aparato fue el único que agregué a mi rutina. Me sentà muy mal. El acero que contiene no es del todo confiable para personas con alergias severas.
