This is so much better than using a kettle on the stove. I would start to boil water on my stove kettle, start doing other things around the house, and then it would scream when boiling and I'd have to run and shut it down. This is much nicer and the water is kept warm. My only wish is that this came in stainless steel to match my other appliances but I am getting used to the black. We have the tiniest kitchen in the world, but thankfully this doesn't seem to take up too much space on the counter.

I shopped for a long time, read through a lot of reviews and finally took the plunge and bought this guy. Well, my research was worth it, this kettle is awesome and I love it. We’ve had it for about two weeks, we use it every day multiple times a day. I love the look of it as well as the functionality. Being able to heat water to a specific degree..who knew? lol Monitoring the water temp as it sits..also who knew?? The kettle heats up very quickly, it has a substantial feel to it & I love the stainless steel carafe inside. It’s easy to clean & I really can’t think of any negatives. If you are on the fence, give it a try it’s a great electric kettle with a few bells and whistles without being over the top. :)

I bought this kettle for my elderly mother-in-law so she could heat water for her tea without having to boil it. However, although advertised and the instructions stated it would stop heating at the set temperature, it kept heating each time until boiling. I returned for a refund as didn't trust a replacement would do any better.

The kettle works well and heats up quickly. I did not like that you cannot display the temperature in celsius or select the temperature you want. You have to use one of the presets. Also, it does not remember the last temperature you used so you have to repeatedly press the button every time you use it.
