I have tried so many electric kettles and 3 for the stove top and then I found this. OMGGG, it is wonderful. Small (I have a small galley kitchen) and holds just enough water for 2 of us and a little over. It is quiet and boils quickly. Not noisy either. I am soooooooo happy. Thanks.

It’s smaller and cheaper-feeling than anticipated. After using it several times it *always* smells of warm plastic, which is off-putting. Having to negotiate the separate base is more annoying than I expected. However, it heats very quickly and there have been no problems with functionality.

I drink tea all day and I hate going back n forth to the kitchen. I keep this next to my desk. It heats reasonably fast. I like that if the water is still hot and you try to turn it on, it won't click back on, I guess as a method of protection. Works perfectly, no complaint!

Purchased this product on 10/30/2024 and was working fine. In the past week it has started leaking from the bottom of the carafe and now is totally unusable. So unable to give it a good review.

Bought as a gift for a friend in assisted living so we can enjoy tea together. Fits small space, attractive, easy to lift from base. Water could be a little hotter, so must heat kettle twice. But overall, the gift was well-received.

This little kettle is perfect for what I need, which is boiling water for my daily coffee and tea. It's 800 ml capacity is equivalent to 27 fluid ounces, plenty for two standard 8 to10 oz. mugs or one large 15 to 16 oz. one. I really like that this kettle has a middle insulation layer protecting the exterior of the unit from getting hot while keeping the water inside hot for a good while. The stainless steel inner liner means you don't taste any plastic, either. The 600-watts of power does the job in about four minutes or so, only a half-minute longer than my 1000-watt microwave that I had been using for boiling water. Note: this item does not have an exterior water level indicator but the inside is marked with MIN and MAX levels. This affordable little guy fits nicely on my counter, too. Yes, it makes noise, just like any other kettle or coffee maker. Why people whine about that in reviews is beyond me. Lol. Given it's great price, I was somewhat skeptical. But no worries, as it turned out. This is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered mine in the matte black finish which took a week longer to receive but that wasn't a big deal.
