I try to replace my dryer vent every year just to be safe. Every year I have a TERRIBLE time trying to connect to the exterior vent. This year I tried something new and I will never go back. I stuffed this silicone sleeve into each end of the 4 inch duct work and it holds and connects perfectly without those annoying screw collars!!!
