Welded in fine to the oil pan. Threads were clean and clear instructions to make sure welded it on in the correct directionIf I was to do it again, I’d probably get the kind that has a lip and then you can drill a hole and drop it in to hold it in place. Make it a little easier to weld as long as you have room on the other side.

We use these on all of our turbo/supercharger installs on Corvettes. They weld easily and are a perfect fit for the GM AIT sensor when we convert the car to speed density.

Looks high quality, but was not labeled anywhere that it was aluminum, so I can't use it. Not worth returning, maybe another project will come up that I can use it for.
