One of the standards. My son needed a set for band, and Vic Firth sticks are a solid choice and have been for years. I’ve played in several bands, and most of the pro and semi-pro drummers I know have at least some Vic Firth sticks, and a lot of them use nothing but VC.My son really likes the thickness and weight. Highly recommended.

Good, cheap timpani mallets. Great for a highschool (or broke college) student. They also sound great on cyms and toms if you're covering multiple things in a pit!

good, thick mallet stick lets you give the drum a good thump. heads are well built and should last a long time. may want to consider putting some self-adhesive rough tape (like used on sprained ankles) on the handle to avoid slippage. other than that, nothing else needed. just whack away! typical vic firth quality.

Ho acquistato questi mallet per suonarli con la batteria ed i piatti. la qualità costruttiva, che si percepisce immediatamente dalla tornitura alla densità del legno (acero ricavato dal pieno), dalla leggerezza e dall'equilibrio nell'impugnatura, è eccellente. Occorre però sottolineare che, pur essendo opportunamente foderata di feltro, la superficie di ciascun battente è abbastanza rigida. Ciò ne suggerisce un uso rivolto ad ottenere un rimbalzo abbastanza immediato (articolazione ritmica, effetto staccato come è nell'intento della casa). Non si addice tanto a mio avviso alla ricerca di un suono più ovattato di tamburi e metallofoni, per il quale sono indicati i t1 e soprattutto i t2 (cart wheel). Rapporto qualità prezzo soddisfacente.
