I've been scouring Amazon looking for some kind of historical bustle/padding that was affordable, cotton/linen and decently made. This checks off all those boxes and more. It's very pretty and light and is well made so I trust it'll last me a good while if I keep it well kept. It also makes a perfect shape and I can't wait to apply this to my other historical garb!

a the materials are good quality but it says one size and i ended up cutting off the elastic band which was way too short so that i could pin these to the sides of my hips/skirt. other wise if i tie it as tight as it can go around my waist the pannier either sits toward the front or back of me instead of straight out the sides...

This is tiny! Suitable for children only in this country. I am a small-adult Caucasian; "one size fit most" is not necessarily true when you are selling your wares in the United States.

I wore this to RenFaire, and there quite a few things that I loved about this. One, it's super affordable. Two, it really does an amazing job of giving you that butt-poof look from the olden times LOL. And third, I really like that I could fold it flat when I was sitting. I simply lifted the bottom ring to to my waist and sat. I thought this was really well made and thought-out!

I lost my old pannier skirt hoops, which were great. Bought these as a last minute replacement, but the fit was strange. The “baskets†were behind the hips and more towards the backside, like a strange bustle. And they kept collapsing during the day, probably because of the light material. Better than nothing, I guess.

I purchased this hoop skirt bustle for a Victorian dress my 11 year old daughter wore for a project at school. It fit her perfectly due to the ease of tying it in the back. She is very petite so it worked well for her and I imagine it would work well for any size due to the length of the sash. She has many positive comments and looked very Victorian!

My skirt was heavy and all it did was press the bustle tiers flat. So pointless. Would work on a light fabric like a Halloween costume
