I have used Vican before and have never had an issue. It snapped right at the thread clean. I was paddling about 10 lbs of grain out of a tank and it snapped like a twig. Definitely a defect. This handle broke on the 1st use. Hopefully the seller will issue a refund or send a new one.

Considering that this handle costs approximately 5x what a similar handle with a standard mop-head thread would cost, it is surprisingly poor quality. The head snapped clean off after very little use. Filed for a warranty replacement, after an entire month they shipped me one that arrived bent in half (pre-broken for my convenience?) and had to be returned. Overall a poor experience.
