I am so happy I decided on this purchase. I looked at many cookbook stands and finally decided on this one. I find it a lovely addition on my counter, easily adjustable, very sturdy (it's cast iron after all!). I purchased the white one, but appreciate it was offered in three colors. I also like that there is not a bar across the shelf as I find this obstructive and complicates page turning. I highly recommend it.Paula

I've always wanted one of these but always thought they were non existent for some reason. This is shiny, heavy and has two weighted book markers to hold your recipe book open. I put my foldable laptop on it though and it's just perfect! I'm happy with this purchase.

Pictures did not do the look justice. Works great on lightweight recipes or small thin books. Anything with any weight will not stay upright. It will lay flat. There is a wingnut to tighten it, and that doesn't do any good to keep it upright. It keeps laying flat.

Honestly pathetic.... It's too small for any cookbook larger than a small paperback, the chains are too light to hold any book open (they're decoration only) and without the use of some serious man power and tools, it's impossible for this to even hold the weight of a cookbook. Highly disappointed, should've read reviews before ordering....

It’s cute if you are going to just display it son the countertop without a cookbook on it. However, if you are going to sit your cookbook on it all of the time, you will not see how pretty it is because it’s so small.

I was having a Goldilocks moment…. Didn’t want anything too big or too small. It turns out this one is just right. I love it!
