I have used Vinter's Harvest before, and got in a hurry and didn't read the label and well, that's what happens. It has a ton of sugar in it, and I think would probably make 5 gallons of wine that is 11% abv with this and yeast, some yeast nutrient, and nothing else. It actually tastes pretty good, but I had planned to make mead with it. Due to all this sugar, I had to reformulate my brew. I'm not saying this is a bad product at all. Really, it's on me for not catching that it wasn't what I had used before. I think this isn't what you want for a black currant mead.
