This is my second Vipertek VTS-T03, as I had misplaced my pink one. I looked at other models/brands/styles, but came right back to this one because my pink one worked very well and held a charge for seemingly forever. I kid you not. I bought the pink one about a year or so ago and have only charged it once - and I didn’t misplace it until two months ago.This stun gun is easy to use and lightweight. It fits quite well in my hand. The flashlight is very bright; I use it when walking home from work at 11:30 at night, and can see quite well on the less-lit side streets approaching my home. The stun gun is a good deterrent as well - we’ve had loose pit bulls and other large dogs, plus we have coyotes and fox in the area; I’m confident that the mere sound of the stun gun will give them pause, if not make them turn tail completely and run for the hills.My only complaint is that the holster that came with this stun gun is EXTREMELY flimsy and not at all secure - the stun gun easily slid out the side when in it. The older pink one I had came with a slightly better holster; it was still fairly flimsy, but it held the stun gun securely.Oh, and for those who are interested - I found the pink one two days after getting this one...😂😂😂

I get off work late at night and have to walk to my car in a parking structure. My town home complex is also very dark and creepy. I usually carry pepper spray at night walking to and from my car and have one handy in my console. If you read the paper, you can see how often people are mugged, car jacked, raped and other things even during the daylight. I decided to get this taser too and I really like it because it doubles as a flash light and comes in real handy. It fits comfortably in the hand and in the case that you might need it, you would flip the switch. A few nights ago when I came home, I closed and locked my screen but not my front door because I was going to have to go back to my car but before I could do that, a man came up to the screen. He was just weird and kept saying "It's Halloween" It was a week before Halloween so I told him he had the wrong house but he wouldn't leave he just kept saying that. I kept telling him to leave and he wouldn't so I turned around to get this taser and came back and just turned on the switch. He turned around and ran like a jack rabbit yelling to someone in a car to start the car and that I just tried to tase them and then yelled back at me that they will be back. Well I did also call 911 and this whole thing had me shook up cuz I have been attacked before in my own home. All in all.... this taser works wonderfully just by turning it on. When I first got it and was walking out to my car and I flipped the switch just to make sure it would come on and my co-worker seemed to jump 3 feet in the air and sprint away alike a jack rabbit.. funny but I can see that just the sound of it is enough to scare anyone away. I think I will be buying another one of these to keep one hand. This comes with a little charger and I probably don't charge it as much as I should, only when I think about it which is every few weeks when I see the flash light start to dim a little. Makes a great gift

This is my second purchase of this flashlight/stun gun. I liked the first one so much I bought a second.Pros:-It's a great price (under US 10) for a rechargeable stun light.-I like the functionality and double duty of a practical flashlight and protective stun gun. Because it looks and functions as a flashlight, it doesn't generate any attention until I hit the "spark" button.-It's rechargeable and keeps a charge for several months at a time.-It's a very effective, "attention getter". When you engage the "stun" spark, it makes a loud crackling sound with a frankenstein-type spark, and would really get the attention of someone who was threatening you.Cons:-I wish the "stun" position on the switch was a little different. It's too easy to put the light in "stun" postion, and I'm worried that at some point I might shock myself or someone else by mistake. You have to press a second button to "stun" but it's where you normally grip the light, so easy to press by mistake. I've never engaged the "stun" spark by mistake, but I worry that it could happen.Even with the one "con", I think this is a good device and a good value. When I test the "stun" spark, it really gets folks attention, and I think it would be an effective deterrent. I recommend.

It does not have a replaceable battery. It is over when the rechargeable source inside the unit is dead. But when it has a charge it is powerful.

It's metal but light and has enough spark that just pushing the button makes people jump back. This is my second one, I now have one in my car and one in the drawer next to my dresser. The flashlight works great as well.
