These are considerably smaller and have finer tips than many 6" needle nose pliers. Not too small though! Just right for home hobby and electrical repair IMHO. The spring loaded feature makes them handy to manipulate one handed and the long skinny tips are well suited for more delicate jobs. Seem to be built well and they operate smoothly. Better fit and finish than you could expect for a tool in this price range. I liked them enough that I bought a second pair to keep in the car tool box.

Like that this comes in a set. The angled pliers have been more useful than I thought, for working on something that's already stuck to a certain place, for example. I was able to bend a picture frame hanger. I was not able to bend laptop charger prongs back into place. The charger prongs nicked the pliers; the metal is relatively soft. Probably better for crafts than fixing metal things.The inside of the plier jaw is flat, not knurled. The tip of the pliers are relatively blunt. They do not feel precision-crafted, but are sufficient for light home use. The grip is textured and can be used comfortably with bare hands or gloves. Stays clean and does not attract dust. The grip color is a little darker blue than the picture shows. Note that the 6" refers to the total length, not the length of the metal part. I'm 5'3" and these fit my hands perfectly. If you are taller than me, they may feel small.

I got these to use for working on instrument repair and holding resin over an alcohol burner. They worked great and it was nice to have both the curved and straight for different parts of the process. They also work for jewelry repairs.

They're tiny and not well-machined. Kind of flimsy. If you don't use them a lot and don't do anything heavy-duty, they'll be OK, at least for a while. I probably should've spent more and gotten a name brand.
