I am very satisfied with my item. I am using this to improve my balance. It is the same quality that I’ve been using in physical therapy. I recommend using it even if you aren’t doing physical therapy. As we age our balance changes. Quality is great! No complaints.

Great for therapy following knee replacement. But I use it as a lap table to eat while watching TV. It is the perfect size and easy to wipe off if food spills.

I am using them for 'sit to stand' exercises, and to develop some strength in my ankles and legs.

My physical therapist wants me to use this type of product, but it's much firmer than the one at the PT's place. I was hoping for something more wobbly. However, I do use it and I think it's good, but I may search around for a softer one that works my legs more. I think this would be great for an older person or someone just starting out with their PT or balance training and needs something a bit firmer. As for the product itself, it's very well made. I step on it with shoes and with just socks. It's holding up fine. I'll keep using it. I think it would also be useful if I have to be on my knees for something. I'm glad I purchased it.

This pad has firm foam and is reasonably priced. This pad is perfect for PT!

This appears to be identical to the pad used by my physical therapist. The exercise is to step over some low obstacle onto this pad. Since the pad is soft, it’s a bit of a challenge for a person to stand on. When the patient is standing with both feet on the pad, they bend over and manually transfer small objects between two bins. As the patient does this exercise, their balance shifts slightly constantly. This exercise helps rebuild their standing balance. The patient is constantly stepping on and off the pad. They have to lift their feet high enough to clear the box sides. It’s a whole lot of standing and stooping.Instead of using junk to step over like at the PT clinic, I used scrap cardboard and tape to construct a custom, shallow cardboard tray to contain the pad. The PT patient had to step over the edge of the box in order to step onto the pad. In addition, the box served to contain other items necessary for the exercise so it was easy to store everything between use. We used this pad a couple of times per day to help restore standing and dynamic balance for a stroke patient.

I used one of these pads at physical therapy to help with my knee and this pad works great. It stays in place and really helps with balance.

One of my physical therapy exercises required a pad like this, and it is ideal. It's big enough without being cumbersome, thick enough for excellent support, and when I do the exercise in bare feet, my feet don't get sweaty because of the material used. It was pricier than some other options, but the thickness of the mat was the big selling point for me. It's just like what I used at my physical therapist's office.
