Absolutely huge capacity; Binder is wider than stated capacity; Short pocket inside front & back;__I ordered this to hold a collection of publications. I picked the smallest size (3"), thinking the 3" would be the overall width. I was wrong. I missed the photo on the web page showing the binder is actually 3.7" wide. It is the D ring capacity that is 3 inches, so double check your materials to know how big a binder you need to order.__There is a very thin piece of cardboard stuck in this to act as a small protection for page turning. Other binders I have seen have a piece of curved rigid plastic which is a better protector--the cardboard is pretty useless. If you are going to use this on a shelf for storing, you'll want those plastic protectors. Why? Because without them the first pages in the book sag down due to the space that the D curve naturally has in the front of the binder. The curve puts a little pressure there when the book is closed. That's my two cents on the subject. If you are using for presentations rather than storage it will matter less.__Having the outside with full size pockets is nice for title page and/or putting a title on the outside edge of the binder.__The binder doesn't feel heavy duty at the 'hinge' point, but it doesn't feel like it will tear in a flash either, so just moderate quality.__The inside pockets are really short, just about 2 inches.__3.8 stars if I could (b/c it really should have those curved protectors due to it's size)
