Every time I use this I have to move it so I really appreciate the lightweight. I use it to make gluten free bread which requires six minutes of beating at high speed. My old heavy weight mixer could do it at medium speed, but this one has to be on high or one speed down. However it does a good job. So far it is holding up well. I appreciate that the beating paddle is solid metal so I have no worries about it breaking which is what happened with my old mixer.
