We got this for our daughter for Christmas and this wheel does not have enough power. It doesn’t spin very fast as all. When you apply pressure to open up your item it almost stops. Waste of money.

This is good for making mugs. The grandkids love it. It is small but great for getting kids started with pottery. It's a fair price. Everything worked well.

Nice for kids. Fun. Nice size. Not like the real ones but you can at least have some kind of fun with it. Comes with clay. Cheap paint. The motor is not strong. But for kids, it can work great. Nice kit

got this for a 8yr old child. Does ok for a novice, but Im sure it would be not up to snuff for someone experienced with clay/wheel. Wheel doesn't maintain speed. But she is having fun so I guess thats what counts.

This pottery set was the perfect gift for my niece. It is nicely sized for a 7 year old and I love how it comes with everything you need.

We love this mini pottery wheel machine kit. It’s awesome and supports our creativity. We’ve wanted to learn how to make mini pottery and now we have this kit and we’re very glad to have it. It’s an extensive kit and we look forward to making creative beautiful sturdy clay helpful items and decorations. It’s a great gift idea for creative folks and it’s very inspiring. We highly recommend it for its tremendous value and it’s money well spent.

I’ve been taking a ceramics class for the past few months, and have been wanting a wheel of my own, but full sized wheels are very expensive. I thought this little wheel would be useful for small pots, but sadly it’s woefully underpowered.I used the provided air-drying clay, which is very soft, and found it almost impossible to center. If you apply the required amount of force to center the clay, the wheel slows down to a crawl and will stop if pressed too hard. Mind you in this scenario I was only using about an eighth of the clay provided, probably around 3-4 ounces worth.Since you can’t center well, the end results are obvious. You end up fighting to try and get a semi-decent, tiny pot made. Even pulling the walls up tended to slow down the wheel, even with the barest pressure needed. I was able to get a couple of small bud vases thrown after an hour of struggle, but in my opinion the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I may try and bring a test pot home to try and trim on the wheel, but I’m not holding my breath.
