I purchased this product for my son who has been doing pottery for a few months now and got a Shimpo Whisper-RK for Christmas (Great wheel by the way). We purchased other bats that either do not sit flat, slide around or flat out don't fit.The product works great as intended. It sits perfectly flat on the wheel which is a problem for every other bat we tried.

These are very good quality and a very fair price. I would purchase again without question.

I just received this bat, it is warped and will not sit flat on the wheel. Would not purchase again.

Because these are a plastic material, I have a hard time keeping them still on the wheel. The holes arent completely snug with the bat pins so they wobble when I'm trying to center. I have some wooden bats that perfectly fit with the pins and those work much better for me. I've even tried forcing clay into the holes around the pins while the bat is on the wheel, and that has also been unsuccessful. I would opt for wooden bats which are honestly much cheaper than these.

This bat is easy to clean and stays flat after many uses; goes on and off the wheel with ease
